The main and most important indicator of development in today's world is knowledge and technology, and acquiring knowledge is one of the most important factors to achieve real independence and freedom from dependence, and this is possible in the shadow of research. The current research was conducted with the aim of designing a research excellence model in the Islamic Republic of Iran Army in the form of a paradigmatic model (including causal conditions, central category, contextual conditions (substrates), intervening conditions, strategies and consequences of research excellence. The statistical population of this research includes experts and experts in the field of research in the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. In this research, the type of applied research, the method of conducting it was descriptive-exploratory, and the data collection tool included library studies and semi-structured interviews with experts. The validity of the interview questions has been confirmed by the content method and its reliability by implementing the retest method. Data analysis was done with a qualitative approach and using the Foundation's data theorizing method, and the coding process was implemented in three stages of open, central and selective coding. For this basis, each of the components of the description coding paradigm and the research excellence model were drawn in AJA, and at the end, a theory based on 16 ruling theorems was created.
